MINISTRY AREAS

WHAT GOD HAS DONE SO FAR

From the original twelve ministry areas that formed an umbrella organization in 1999, today, year 2006, the ministry, by the grace of God, has spread to 35 places in Mindanao. The power of the Gospel, shared by men and women from all walks of life bear fruit in the lives of others. New believers were followed up until they become disciples, and in turn disciple other new believers, and form new fellowship groups all over Mindanao.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES OF THE MINISTRY

MSU - MARAWI CITY (Leader: Carmelito Go)

The ministry started with a couple who invited some students to their home for Bible studies. Soon the group grew, and many more students, including professionals are involved in regular Bible studies. The ministry is starting to save some amount to build a bigger fellowship venue to accommodate a growing number of believers. Regular Sunday fellowship, midweek prayers are also done weekly. Short leadership trainings, conferences are done every semester. A discipleship training called Timothy Principle is currently being done to key leaders.

MSU - ILIGAN CITY (Leader: Robert Malaluan)

A group of believers, mostly from MSU Marawi campus (former students) came to Iligan and work as faculty members, and industry workers. Soon they form a fellowship and continued the vision of disciple-making, sharing the Gospel and follow up those who responded. At present, around 150 college students, professionals and community people are involved in disciple-making. They also meet every Sunday for fellowship. Three training apartments are set up for living situation training. Students stay together in one apartment, with a disciple-maker teaching them basics of disciple-making, at the same time serve one another by taking turns in household work.. They encourage all members to be involved in witnessing and follow up. Hopefully, when they graduate, they do not only earn a degree, but will become colaborers for the Kingdom of God.

Current Activities: The ministry is also gathering financial resources to build a fellowship building since their number is growing, and that rental of the current building where they fellowship is getting higher. Some of their activities are Bible studies, witnessing, prayer meetings, and conferences. They also conduct regular visits to their outreaches located within the city. Also, the ministry had set-up training apartments for committed ladies and guys.
